Season 2013/2014

Our current free lecture is on ‘How not to fall foul of the law and how to avoid criminal penalties’.  The lecture lasts an hour and is free to all sports clubs and participants who will provide email contact details.

The lecture covers a range of offences – road traffic offences, speeding, drug offences, assault, Facebook and Twitter and sexual offences.

The sports legal lecture also provides examples and discussion of real-life cases where sports persons have fallen short of the law, and the impact that this has had on their careers.

This season we have delivered our lecture to sports men and women up and down the land.  Burnley, Newcastle, Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion, West Ham United, Fulham, Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday, Norwich and AFC Bournemouth are just some of the clubs we have visited.

The contents page from the free 50 page lecture brochure reads as follows;

  1. Introduction
  2. Road Traffic Offences
  3. Speeding
  4. Drug Offences
  5. Assault
  6. Facebook and Twitter
