What Legal Fees should I expect?
Unfortunately, Legal Aid is not available for driving offences. For Causing Death by Dangerous Driving offences, we do not accept Legal Aid cases.
Even if Legal Aid is not available for your case, please contact us. We will then be able to provide you with a realistic estimate of our fees to represent you at court.
Fees are dependent on:
- Whether or not you plead guilty.
- How much preparation is required to ensure that your case can be put in the possible light.
It is important to remember that if you plead not guilty and are subsequently found not guilty then the court has the power to grant defendants cost order so that some of or all your fees can be paid from central funds.
For a no-obligation discussion about your driving offence case please contact Mark Carter, Head of our Motoring Offences department on 0800 1444 111, or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Alternatively, please complete our online form and one of our criminal defence lawyers will be in touch with you within 24 hours.
