Rachel joined Carter Moore in 2015, representing clients in Criminal and prison law matters whilst she completed her training contract. She qualified as a solicitor in 2018 and currently works on serious Crown Court cases as well representing clients at the police station and magistrates court. She also continues to represent her clients for variety of prison law matters including re-categorisation, transfers, early release on HDC and representations for release following recall.
Prior to this Rachel graduated with a 2:1 in English from Queen’s University Belfast in 2009. She then spent a number of years travelling, including twelve months volunteering at St Kilda Legal Centre in Australia. Rachel completed a Graduate Diploma in Law in 2014 at Manchester Metropolitan University and graduated with a distinction from the Legal Practice Course.
