Jeremy Moore CM Solicitors

Jeremy Moore is the Managing Director here at CM Solicitors. He has been practicing as a Solicitor since 1994, having previously graduated with a BA Honours Degree in Business Studies. He founded CM Solicitors in 2003.

With our expanding Sports Law Department, Jeremy is currently taking a Master’s Degree in Sport Directorship at Manchester Metropolitan University. Once he completes his course later this year, he will be the only Solicitor in the country with that qualification. Alongside this, Jeremy already has a strong reputation for representing well known sports clubs, players and agents in contractual issues and litigation matters and is currently legal advisor to the board at Oldham Athletic.

Jeremy is admired for both his friendly and personal yet professional approach, he has become renowned for dealing with some of the country’s most complex and high profile cases, specialising in all serious criminal defence matters from serious fraud to complex murder cases and extradition matters.

He successfully defended Barry George in his appeal following his conviction for the murder of television presenter Jill Dando and then helped to secure his acquittal in his subsequent retrial as well as representing Levi Bellfield in his trial for the murder of Milly Dowler and more recently Victorino Chua in his trial relating to the deaths at Stepping Hill Hospital.

Jeremy has made many appearances on television, including the likes of newsnight and panorama in relation to his cases and has been asked to appear on both local and national radio stations to discuss legal matters.
