I was charged with Drink Driving recently and instructed Tom Jarvis of Carter Moore Solicitors to deal with the case. My reading in breath was 40 and I provided a sample of blood which was analysed and found to be over the legal limit. We were handed initial disclosure at the first appearance at the Magistrates Court and Tom noticed that vital evidence which should have been served was missing. The case eventually went to trial and the prosecution tried to serve the information that day. We made an application to the court that they shouldn’t be allowed to do this and the court agreed that they should not. The prosecutor was forced to offer no evidence against me and I was formally found not guilty. I was overjoyed at this and even happier when a costs order was made in my favour. I would strongly urge anyone charged with a road traffic offence to contact Tom or any of the team at Carter Moore Solicitors.
